ELECTRONS

Electrons are the negatively charged particles of atom.

Electrons are the smallest of the three particles that make up atoms. Electrons are found in shells orbitals that surround the nucleus of an atom. The electron always has a "-", or negative, charge.

Electrons play a major role in all chemical bonds which are ionic and covalent bonds.
